Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

White Plains is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around White Plains is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We have had a disappointing experience here while our adolescent has been hospitalized for the past 2.5 weeks. There is very little in the way of communication from his treatment team. The focus seems to be on medication management and as a holding place until we can find a residential treatment program for him. They indicate he is resistant to treatment, yet we have seen very little evidence of more than their giving him handouts of coping skills. He was previously hospitalized at Bellevue a few months ago and I can now confidently say I would much rather he was there. The care was infinitely better. We were able to log into the patient portal there and see regular updates about his care from his team and they regularly contacted us. While his team there admitted he was resistant to treatment, at least they attempted to engage him meaningfully and started to make some headway by the time of his discharge. To our knowledge, his team at White Plains has still not meaningfully engaged him about why he is there - assault of his parent. He still thinks he is going to come home rather than needing residential treatment, because I don't think they have bothered to tell him how serious hi

The care my mother received was the worse. Doctors and charge nurses are never on the same page. My mother felt she was a prisoner the entire stay. Charge nurse Austin was very rude on the phone when we were disguising a way to allow my mother to go outside for fresh air. He basically did not want to accommodate me in any why. At the end of the conversation he said that he had to hang up after an 8 minute conversation. I will never recommend using that facility for care or recover to anyone.

The staff is awesome and so attentive. My husband went in for surgery and the nurses Niko and Wesley were absolutely amazing! Everyone else was super friendly and the accommodations were lovely. Very clean.

Children's Nichols Cottage has AMAZING STAFF. They are all so great & caring with all the kids. Our family is so appreciative for how caring they have been with our son. They go above and beyond with the care they provide.

My Wife was transfer here for ECT, This hospital is big feel like a university campus, which is very nice compared to other hospital! The place is brand new super clean!! Women and men are in separate Unit which make it feel very safe!! The Nurses And Tech are very nice !! Doctor is great they treat her symptoms, the alone thing I don’t like is they kept her there one extra week when she was good to go home! Social worker didn’t talk to us at the beginning, she only reach out on the last week right before she about to go home after over a month of staying there! They also lost her clothes!!! This place has the best visiting hour of all the hospitals we been to! 11-8pm everyday!!

I despise the psychiatric industry bc of repeated misdiagnoses and medication that made me eat uncontrollably. I got up to 299 lbs and I had to work extremely hard to lose 130 of those lbs. But I will say this facility other than Central regional in NC is one of the only facilities that carefully evaluated me and did not pill push. Dr. Roth in 5 North is one of the most decent psychiatrists along with the others on that unit I've ever worked with. Even the bipolar unit said I don't have bipolar and that is their specialty. This place does not lie for money unlike other facilities in NY. Last time I was their I know I was in a very dark place and had a brief psychotic breakdown from guilt. It was the absolute worst year of my life. But they never gave up on me and despite having psychosis at the time they knew it was not bipolar or schizophrenia. Bc once again they carefully evaluated me for years. Most doctors see people for 5 minutes and put a label and medicate. Dr. Roth did not do that. I have a lot of respect for him and mind u I cant stand psychiatrists bc of what I went through with the weight gain. Definitely bring your loved one here if they need to be bc they take their t

This place is terrible My experience during my stay at New York Presbyterian is not the best. I have decided to give NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Westchester Division Westchester Behavorial Center a review on Google for many reasons. Of all the departments in association with my care; the Department(s) of Psychiatry, in academic affiliation with Weill Cornell and Columbia University is terrible. They do not respect my word and directive regardless of presentation, in written or spoken format. The facility and associated management by auxiliary staff is top-notch, for sure. There are State of the Art systems of security which is really cool. The janitorial staff do an amazing job with sanitation and disinfecting ; I’m glad the Unit is kept clean. There are also iPads available for patients. The nurses of the Nurse’s station are pleasant and very helpful. I know I can count on them to help me when I need things for personal grooming, and they also routinely scan my blood pressure and other vitals. The nurses also serve as primary points of contact for general questions and concerns. However, the members of the Department of Psychiatry are terrible. I do not want to meet with the
